A form of reading that has been receiving a lot of attention from language teachers and researchers is reading while simultaneously listening. You can build not only your vocabulary but you can see how words are written and pronounced, increasing your listening comprehension, as well as your pronunciation and intonation.I have come across this website and this one,where you can practise these skills. The first is full of simple stories with some exercises at the end if you want to check your understanding. The second has videos and listenings with subtitles.
